Timeline to Make a Profitable Website

From feedback in the great Facebook Group here there have been questions around the topic of what timeline should people be following if they are joining us on the Mortgage Crushing Competition or the How to Make to Make a Website that makes money in 2017 challenge.

This post attempts to layout the modules we will be covering them and where in the process I suggest you be.

One important clarification is that we will be sharing our journey and documenting the steps/providing training to follow along but there is no reason you can’t work ahead or if you come late you should still be able to cover everything.

Where Should You Be Now?

If you are wanting to follow along closely with each module then right now after the first week in January you should have generated a list of ideas based on Module 1 here.  Most importantly you should have that big list refined down to 1-2 ideas that you will work on in Module 2 to validate with Keyword Research.

  • Need Help? If you are ever hung up I want to be able to provide a win-win where my team can help. As a potential win-win if you are stuck but considering using a PBN you can purchase a 5 site PBN and my team will review your competitions backlinks, keyword difficulty and provide our recommendation if your idea is valid. This way you will have a PBN already built and ready to promote your site when the time comes.

What Kind of Timeline for Results Should You Expect?

Based on the timeline above when can you expect to see results? The answer is that if the starting date for launching the site is at the end of January we are aiming at a graph that looks like the image below but shifted back a couple months.

The image below is for a site we will be sharing as a case study showing exactly what we did week by week to build and promote it in 2016.

But basically it was an Amazon Associate site that was built with great keyword research and then building a PBN and sending consistent promotion to it.

As you can see it took a good few months before the amount of traffic
