Six Figure Website Attack Plan Revealed

Last week I asked for people to join in on my goal to build a six figure website in 2015. This is an aggressive goal and requires a very big plan to execute.

The rough outline of that plan is what I am going to share with you today.

Beyond the normal reasons we need a plan there is one major reason an authority site project needs and plan and more importantly a system to execute the plan…that is what Seth Godin calls the dip.

For an authority site it is going to take awhile before the effort you are putting out will turn into tangible results.

The lifecycle of an authority site and our interest follows a very predictable path…

  1. New idea with lofty goals = Energy HIGH
  2. Idea start getting implemented = Energy still high
  3. The grind of content creation and outreach begins = Initial energy carries us but it starts to weaken
  4. The grind continues, a big post you wrote gets no response = Energy level low

At stage 4 without a system in place to carry the site through the dip a new project that will interest us more will start to get our attention. This is where many well intentioned and useful sites never realize their full potential!

What is the solution to the dip?

  1. Have a plan and systems – More on this below
  2. Be accountable to others – Join the free Google group here dedicated to the six figure website challenge (more details about my progress shared there)

This is not a project plan…this is my authority site attack plan!

The basics of any good project plan/attack plan is that it clearly communicates who is doing what by when.

To that end this document is created so that anyone can pick it up and start to formulate a plan on how they are going

Here are the sections of this attack plan. You can get access once it is fully released by getting on my email list here.

Over the coming weeks I will be sharing details about each of these phases in more detail.

But this post is to give you a general idea of the direction we are going as a group all trying to build six figure websites.
